Description: BFI is currently looking for a student designer to lead creative for a new website design, to help communicate and promote BFI programs and initiatives. The position will be hybrid remote and be required to work in a team. Responsibilities to include:
- Work with the Communications Coordinator and other BFI staff and contractors for a new website, collateral for online communication and visual assets, and other graphic asset needs.
- Concept and develop visual strategy for the new BFI website, including website architecture and incorporating communication strategy
- Support web engineering leads to ensure they have the needed design assets and architecture to support their work.
Qualifications: Current UC Berkeley graduate student. Master’s of Design students preferred but eligibility open to any graduate student with appropriate experience. Experience and skills with graphic design required. Skills with Adobe Creative Suite are required and skills with Figma preferred. This role is essential to the function of the Center, and therefore the successful candidate must be extremely organized and reliable in order to meet deadlines.
