Communities in northern Madagascar that traditionally rely on natural resources may face unexpected food security pressures with decreased access to wildlife. While there are no specific policy recommendations, it suggests that increased dietary diversification, and a transition to domestication of meat animals, may be needed to fill the gap left by decreased access to wild foods.
