Policy Summary
Grazing influences ecosystem productivity and is a critical control for ecosystem services. Various tradeoffs exist that deserve further exploration. For example, removal of grazing decreases GHGs yet increases nitrate levels in springs. Overall, results indicate that light grazing may be most desirable from an ecosystem perspective.
