Apply for Funding for Student-Run Events

BFI has a small annual budget for supporting the activities of UC Berkeley food and agriculture-related student groups. Requests are considered until the funding is used up for the year.

A specific student group can make up to two requests per academic year for a total of no more than $500 given to any particular group in one year. Please note: funding is not guaranteed given budget limitations. Requests will only be considered from registered UC Berkeley student groups.

Payment will come in the form of reimbursement after the event, and all receipts will be required. We do not fund alcoholic beverages or memberships.

Student Group Funding

  • Please describe the student-run event that you are seeking funding for. Provide as much detail as possible.
  • Please provide the amount of funding you are requesting and describe what it will be used for.
